CASA's QUALITY STANDARDS

INDUSTRIAL QUALITY. LESS PLASTIC.

CASA's product is the result of a relentless attention to detail and an uncompromised approach to component quality. CASA uses almost exclusively industrial-grade materials. This is especially evident in the CLEAR collection, in which all internal components are visible from the outside of the lamp. Take a look! You'll notice that the entire body of the lamp (inside and out) is made primarily of wood, glass, and iron, that are all snugly joined using industrial-grade materials, enabling these lamps to be enjoyed for multiple generations. Our use of industrial materials (read: not plastic) carries the additional benefit of being recyclable and mostly biocompatible in the event of disposal (will not poison and/or inundate the environment). The entire experience of being a CASA customer - this website, our sustainable shipping process, the lamp construction - also aims to achieve industry-leading quality. 

Examples of CASA quality:

    1. CASA's light sockets are made of Industrial Black Iron. Similarly-priced lamps often use the same low-grade plastic you would find in a $15 lamp. 
    2. CASA's Erlenmeyer flasks (the main base of the lamp) are made of Pyrex-style laboratory-grade borosilicate, capable of withstanding the type of abuse imposed by evil scientists throughout the world. 😈Compare this to dormroom-grade glass or ceramics which often don't survive a tip-over, and rarely survive a drop. 
    3. CASA's wiring uses 18/2 Rayon Covered cords for its colorful and stylish power delivery. They are strong and durable, which is apparent upon sight and feel. Compare this to the generic plasticy cords you'll find on almost any other lamp, including those many times more expensive. 
    4. CASA uses solid pipe to route its wires from bottom to top. This is instead of having internal wiring routed loosely through the lamp, which can appear sloppy if visible through a clear lamp's vase. This results in the appearance of strength, stability, and order.
    5. CASA's customers all receive the red carpet treatment that they deserve. You'll know your CASA shipment has arrived when you see a 12x12x18" box with a large 'C' hand-sprayed in colors that match those on your unique lamp. Additionally, each shipment includes a hand-written CASA thank you, along with a haiku that makes your lamp special.
